To support the research for the project titled: LLM Based Smart Assistant System.
The project aims to research and develop technologies in the following technically challenging areas to deliver an LLM-based smart assistant system for automative equipment maintenance. The base application should handle multi-query strategy and fusion of Information sources (original equipment manual, internet forums, databases, knowledge graphs). The Search module must enable direct searches and fusion of information across various data sources and knowledge graphs, using LLM-generated for merge / prioritise information from different streams.
We are seeking a motivated and capable Research Fellow to lead the development of a Large Language Model (LLM)-based smart assistant system for automotive equipment maintenance. The successful candidate will guide research direction, collaborate with a team of researchers, and develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Job Responsibilities
Lead research and development efforts for an LLM-based smart assistant system.
Guide and collaborate with a team of researchers to design and implement solutions.
Propose and develop innovative approaches to address technical challenges.
Design, conduct, and evaluate experiments to validate research ideas.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across research and industry domains.
Monitor, document, and report project progress to stakeholders.
Establish and contribute to research partnerships with academic and industry collaborators.
Job Requirements
PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent research experience and accomplishments.
Strong programming skills with experience in software development.
Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science techniques.
Demonstrated research capability, evidenced by publications, conference papers, patents, or equivalent outputs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to conduct innovative and impactful research.
Ability to develop research hypotheses and design appropriate experimental methodologies.
Experience in designing and implementing experimental or prototype systems.
Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary and diverse team environments.
