The Calgary West Central Primary Care Network (CWC PCN) is a non-profit organization committed to a healthier future. As a Primary Care Network, we work alongside hundreds of family doctors (our members) to support the patient-doctor relationship and provide programs and services at no cost to doctor or patient.
As the Research & Evaluation Consultant on our Patient’s Medical Home (PMH) team, you’ll assist in the development and implementation of standards for evaluation and with strategic evaluation projects. You’ll also build key internal and external relationships that support the evaluation needs across the organization.
This role is primarily a work from home position with occasional in-person responsibilities; therefore, the successful candidate must be located within the Calgary Zone or the surrounding area (e.g., Cochrane, Canmore, Airdrie, etc.).
Requirements
Education: A master’s degree with formal training in applied research or evaluation design and methodology, epidemiology, biostatistics, social sciences or a comparable discipline with a strong complement of quantitative and qualitative health information analysis training is required.

Certification: Completion (or in the process of completing) the ARECCI level one reviewer certificate is required (may be completed during first year of employment — as available through Health Innovates).
Functional knowledge: Knowledge of and experience in the field of primary health care or other areas within health that directly interface with primary health care.
Technical: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams); collaboration software (Monday.com); visualization software (Tableau); statistical software (SPSS, Stata, SAS), survey software; and qualitative analysis software.
Background check: A clear Criminal Background check is required to start.
