Job Description:
Biomedical Informatics Research Study Coordination: Track objectives, milestones, deliverables, status reports, study results. Translate study design decisions into concrete tasks, and assist in setting implementation priorities. Manage communication among staff, study sponsors, healthcare professionals, and investigators, to ensure on-time reports and other deliverables. Work with investigators and administrative staff to maintain budgets, monitor project spending, and develop and maintain IRB protocols, prepare and submit progress reports, and other research-related documentation.
Communication: Organize and lead project and team meetings. Track and communicate project updates to team members, leadership, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Grant Proposal Development: Coordinate grant proposal development with investigators and grants administrators. Collaboratively manage submission milestones and deadlines. Identify and review extramural funding opportunities and share opportunities with investigators and other partners.
Research Protocol Implementation: Work collaboratively with investigators and project teams to conduct all phases of quanitative and qualitative research including study recruitment, informed consent, retention, and data collection and analysis. Communicate with study participants to address paritipant questions/issues and implement study protocols
Dissemination: Work with Investigators to produce publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations to academic, organizational, and community audiences.
