Purpose of the Position:
The Research Associate V, S1-4 will be involved in all aspects of 3D Printing of CAD Models. The person will be required to print, post-process and finish 3D printed models and operate 3D resin and filament printers.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Manipulate, modify and prepare CAD models in CAD Software for 3D printing on resin and/or filament printers
• Perform post-processing and finishing of 3D printed models
• Provide support in the maintenance and cleaning of 3D printing equipment
• Manage Timeliness associated with multiple 3D printing tasks
• Coordinate ordering required 3D printing supplies
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and years of work experience.
• 5.5-7 years of full-time verifiable work experience (preferably in science, engineering, business, liberal arts, or equivalent).
• Must have extensive experience with CAD/3D software. Experience with and extensive knowledge of resin printing is required.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience using Solidworks and/or Rhino 3d desired.
