The Department of Paediatrics within the Women and Child Health Division is engaged in advancing child health through clinical research and programme activities. This position will support the Parents Circle programme for parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated research initiatives. The role contributes to family engagement, psychological assessments, data collection, and research activities conducted in community and institutional settings. Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include to arrange, organise, and facilitate Parents Circle sessions, including preparing materials and ensuring smooth session flowmoderate activities during sessions and support siblings’ engagement and participationcommunicate with parents, caregivers, and administrative staff regarding scheduling, logistics, and follow-upsconduct and quality check structured surveys and assessments, including SRS, DASS-21, SDQ, and Family Impact Questionnaireassist in In-Depth Interviews (IDIs) with selected family members, including notetaking and documentationreview data for completeness and quality and coordinate with team members to address correctionsprepare weekly progress reports on Parents Circle sessions and research activitiescontribute to final project reports and summaries upon completionperform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Principal Investigator.
Requirements You should have: Masters in psychology or a related medical background1 to 2 years of related work experienceexperience conducting research or therapy with children will be preferredfamiliarity with developmental and psychological assessment tools such as INCLEN, ACSF, SRS, SDQ, DASS21, and FIQ will be preferredunderstanding of research protocols and proceduresability to plan, coordinate, collect, analyse, and report research dataexperience performing psychological assessments such as INCLEN, ACSF, SDQ, SRS, DASS, and FIQexcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailstrong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaborationability to work independently and as part of a teamgood writing, documentation, and reporting skills.
