Research Associate (Medical), Paediatrics & Child Health -MC-(260002DT)
Introduction:
The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health supports large-scale, internationally funded research initiatives focused on improving maternal and child health outcomes. The Department works closely with global collaborators and manages complex clinical, academic, and research operations.

Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include to
  • monitor the data collection process in the field, evaluating and ensuring the accuracy of the data
  • write a weekly report
  • conduct thorough literature searches
  • screen and assess article eligibility based on criteria
  • systematically extract and analyze relevant data
  • evaluate study quality using established tools
  • prepare systematic review reports
  • contribute to manuscript development for publication
  • work closely with team members and experts
  • participate in regular team meetings
  • supervise all project related activities from field management to data collection and quality control of data collection
  • maintain good working relationship among staff & community.
  • do any other tasks assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:

You should have:

  • MBBS degree

  • at least one to two years of relevant work experience
  • experience with paediatric patient clinical assessment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • good writing skills.
  • strong interpersonal skills and communication
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Urdu, Sindhi
  • comfort working in challenging field-based settings
  • strong people management skills, particularly in challenging field environment
  • proven experience in systematic reviews
  • strong understanding of research methodologies
  • proficiency in reference management and systematic review tools

This is a close-ended position.
