This is a grant-funded contractual position.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• develop environmental science learning materials and educational resources for school-based programmes
• design content focused on water quality, climate resilience, environmental sustainability and WASH principles
• ensure educational resources are aligned with relevant curriculum requirements and programme objectives
• develop and support online and blended learning resources for educators and community participants
• plan and deliver teacher training programmes on environmental education and sustainability concepts
• support schools in implementing environmental clubs and student-led learning initiatives
• organise educational events, science exhibitions and laboratory visits for students and teachers
• maintain accurate records of programme activities and contribute to project reporting requirements.

Requirements

• bachelor's degree in education, environmental sciences or a related field
• at least two years of relevant experience
• experience in curriculum development, teacher training or educational programme delivery
• knowledge of environmental education, sustainability and WASH-related concepts
• experience working with schools, educators and community stakeholders
• strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills
• ability to develop engaging learning materials for diverse audiences
• strong organisational and documentation skills.
