We have an exciting interdisciplinary opportunity for a full-time Research Associate to work on a fully-funded research project in the field of “Tissue engineering of human oral mucosa and cancer studies”. You will be highly motivated, innovative and be able to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
You will join a highly skilled research group at Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine (HBMCDM) and work in well-equipped biomedical research laboratories of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and Al Jalila Research Centre. You will be required to generate and culture tissue-engineered human oral mucosal models using cell culture techniques and conduct histology and different biological tests.
By joining our team, you will have an excellent opportunity to further develop your interdisciplinary skills, and you will be connecting to an established team of researchers with a high-quality track record of publications and grant capture.
This post is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, with the possibility of an extension for an additional year.
You should possess a postgraduate degree at a PhD level in the area of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine with experience of 3D cell culture, histology, molecular biology assays, ELISA, and cell viability tests.
