The position is based in Lira City, Uganda. Housing will be provided within office premises and meet Peace Corps safety standards. Transportation options include public transport. Volunteers will receive a comprehensive safety and security briefing.

Prepare survey tools, training materials, and logistical plans for data collection
Support enumerator teams and ensure data quality during fieldwork
Manage logs for tracking survey activities and sensitive data
Assist with data cleaning, entry, and validation
Submit finalized datasets for analysis
Volunteers will receive orientation on Peace Corps policies, safety and security, and technical training on survey design, data management, and research ethics.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research on literacy education and its long-term impact on academic success and life outcomes. The Research Associate will work closely with Ichuli Institute and Peace Corps Uganda to support survey design, data collection, and analysis for a longitudinal study on early grade literacy interventions.
