Our research group, funded by Google, is seeking highly motivated candidates to join a project that leverages large language models (LLMs) to accelerate software development for education. The project aims to:
(i) develop a web-based system for novel teaching and assessment methodologies
(ii) evaluate the extent to which current LLMs and Vibe coding tools can automate the system’s development
(iii) design a development pipeline and practical guidelines to optimize the use of LLMs in building such systems
Who should apply?
We welcome applications for both part-time positions (third- or fourth-year undergraduate students) and full-time roles. Ideal candidates will have:
- Excellent programming skills
- A strong passion for applying AI tools in software development
- Experience with web development (React, Node.js, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL databases)
- Experience in web security, computer vision, game development, or human–computer interaction (a plus but not required)
