Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 537277)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in research program of PID modelling using stem cell platforms conducted in the Division of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology.
• Supervise junior research staff and postgraduate students, and prepare reports and papers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• The appointee will be given an opportunity to develop their own research programme in the wider fields of PID and autoimmunity.

Requirements

• A PhD degree with at least 5 years’ post-doctoral work experience in the area of primary immunodeficiencies (PID) and autoimmunity.

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 3-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary.
