
The Division of Humanities is looking for a high-calibre candidate to fill the position of part-time Research Assistant to support research in Digital Humanities & AI.

Applicants should possess at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with knowledge of the written Chinese language. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in coding and neural networks, coupled with a general interest in the humanities and China studies. Experience with databases, data analysis, dedicated server dashboards, and HPC/Slurm environments, as well as fluency in English and/or one or more of Hong Kong’s community languages would be an advantage. Proven ability to write well in academic English will be considered a strong advantage. (Duration: 1 year)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including paid leave and medical benefit may be provided.
