
Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Assistant, Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute, Part-Time Hourly at its Detroit campus location.

To conduct and support the collection of research data for projects focused on promoting positive caregiving for young children in Detroit. Essential Functions Collect research data from parents, caregivers, educators, and health care professionals. Research data management and reporting. Verifying surveys are completed in an online system. Summarizing research data. Creating research data collection materials. Creating research surveys in Qualtrics survey systems and creating research paper surveys. Attend bi-weekly project meetings. Office duties (e.g., making copies, organizing research materials).
EducationBachelor’s degree DisciplinePsychology At least two years’ experience collecting evaluation data relevant to early childhood mental health. ExperienceEntry level (less than a year of job-related experience). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience using online data collection systems.Qualtrics Survey Systems required. Strong organizational skills. Experience working with children and families in the urban community. Experience recruiting participants from Pediatric Primary Care units.
