The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Research Assistant to join our Integrated Substance Use and Addiction Programs (ISAP). ISAP is a multidisciplinary research center dedicated to advancing behavioral health through research, evaluation, and training focused on substance use disorders. The team works with community partners, healthcare systems, and criminal justice organizations to improve prevention, treatment, and recovery outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

Bachelors degree in social science, public health, psychology or related field (Preferred)
Experience conducting research interviews or collecting research data (preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
Experience using REDCap, Qualtrics, or similar research platforms (preferred)
Experience conducting literature review and summarizing research findings (preferred)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
