
Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.:537086) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or other relevant disciplines. Preference will be given to those with a strong background and research experience in organic synthesis, particularly in the synthesis of photoactive and/or biologically active compounds. They should be responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team. They should also have good analytical skills and a good command of English and Chinese. The appointees will work on projects on the synthesis of photo- or bioactive compound precursors. The appointees will work under the supervision of Professor C. M. Che.
