Research Assistant I/II in Hong Kong Institute of Economics and Business Strategy (HIEBS), Faculty of Business and Economics (several posts) (Ref.: 536920) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess an undergraduate or master’s (strongly preferred) degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related fields. They should demonstrate excellent communication skills both in writing and in oral presentations in English and Chinese. Strong analytical and programming skills, along with the ability to conduct both quantitative and qualitative research, are required.
Applicants with a strong interest in rigorous policy research on Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA) will be highly valued. Under the supervision of Professor Heiwai Tang, Associate Director of HIEBS, the appointee will conduct academic and policy research projects focusing on a diversified economy, IP finance and trade, as well as the macroeconomic effects of structural integration across various sectors in Hong Kong and the GBA.
