Works under general direction to either plan, coordinate, supervise, and participate in assigned research projects or perform more complex research assignments requiring considerable experience and thorough knowledge of techniques and practices related to particular field of medical or scientific research.
Children's Research Institute (CRI) is seeking a detailed-oriented and proactive Research Assistant to work in the Moody Foundation Flow Cytometry Facility. Primary duties include providing high-quality flow cytometry service and support to CRI labs and to the UTSW research community. The Research Assistant will develop and maintain complex operations and analyses of samples in a research environment, operate flow cytometers, cell sorters and analyzers, and maintain equipment and quality control procedures. You will work closely with scientists and assist in the training of new users.
