Research Assistant I

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in preparing and managing the facility for Producibility an focus trials, ensure the management with commercial standard and data collection, harvest and testing samples by utilization of research equipment (Lab, field and grower PR initiatives) according to plan prepared by scientist.
• Collaborate with focus trials aligned with Farming team.
• Prepare shipments of seed and testing materials including document preparation related.
• Ensure data reliability.
• Assist for training for new collaborators in PR and Farming for new protocols developed from research.
• Support for training for growers in critical field and crop practices according to the plan scheduled by scientist
• Participate in task related document creation and process review for job-related activities. Suggest improvements to QSHEE, SOP´s and ISO documents and practices.
• Field inspection for new genetics in PT and commercial fields.
• Collaboration in good practices sharing between regions and different crop squads for SPI and Production.
• Provide insights and red flags for new genetics to Farming in shape and time.
• Adoption of digitalization platforms available for data collection (Velocity and Collect in 2025).
• Participation in future missions aligned with the business core and their abilities and skills.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree or MSc desirable in agronomist, biological sciences or related.
• Proficiency in Computer applications.
• Veg. Crop management.
• Accept assignments and follow instructions to complete work in a timely manner.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eligible and wiliness to often travel to local production area by him/herself.
• English desirable.
