We are seeking a Research Assistant with an enthusiastic self-starter with interest and experience in qualitative research for the Center for Substance Use and Infectious Disease Care Integration within the Division of Infectious Diseases. The Center has innovative programs and partnerships with people and communities affected by substance use. Center activities focus on improving outcomes for those with Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders, with a focus on prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, particularly HIV and viral hepatitis. Research involves epidemiology, qualitative and quantitative research to understand barriers and facilitators to effective care, and the development, implementation, and evaluation of interventions. This individual will work primarily on qualitative research aspects of an implementation science study focused on evaluating and adapting interventions focused on integrating substance use, mental health, and infectious disease care for people who use drugs.
The Research Assistant oversees data collection, data organization, and/or data management or similar functions/tasks for research study(ies) in support of a PI or a research team.
