
The Research Assistant will support the BUBs Quit research study within the Population and Child Health (PCH) group, which focuses on smoking cessation during pregnancy. Working across several hospitals and AMIHS in Sydney and New South Wales, the role involves assisting with participant recruitment, consent, and follow-up of mothers participating in the study.
The position contributes to both quantitative and qualitative research activities, including data collection, data entry, data management, and analysis using tools such as REDCap and electronic medical records. The Research Assistant will assist with recruitment, interviews and focus groups, while maintaining research databases and records in accordance with high scientific, ethical, and professional standards.
