Job Title: Research Assistant Professor (RAP)

Office/ College: Center of Medical and Bio-allied Health Sciences Research

OFFUNCTIONS:

A Full Time Research Assistant Professor is expected to design, organize, conduct highly specialized and advanced experiments and engage in research in his/her subject area using established scientific protocols and procedures and, in some cases, designingnew protocols; summarize findings and publish results in high quality indexed research journals and conferences; provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members,and students as appropriate.

ESSENTIALDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of a full-time Research Assistant Professor include, but not limited, to:

1. Conduct cutting-edge research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
2. Seek internalandexternal funding through grant applications and collaborative research projects.
3. Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary research projects.

4. scheduling,organizingandreportingonstatusoftheongoingresearchactivities;

5. Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
6. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
7. Engage in departmental, college, and university service activities.

8. preparing regular progress reports of his/her tasks as per the requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS&EXPERIENCE:

1. A PhD in Pharmacy, Health Sciences or a closely related field from a recognized and ranked (Top 200 institution is preferred).

   1. Proven expertise in designing and implementing quantitative and qualitative research studies.

   2. A strong background in public health, regulatory science, or healthcare industries.

   3. Strong research record demonstrated through publications.

   4. Deep knowledge and experience in biostatistical analysis, including advanced statistical modeling and data interpretation.

   5. Proven ability to design and analyse experimental or observational studies.

   6. Experience with statistical software such as SPSS, R, SAS, or similar tools.

   7. Independenceinpriorresearchishighlydesirable.
