The primary work location is 1 Church Street New Haven, CT. The research coordinator will work on two clinical trial studies, one evaluating a digital intervention for alcohol/drug use disorders and another trial evaluating a digital intervention for cigarette smoking cessation.. The research coordinator's responsibilities will include leading recruitment efforts, managing and tracking participant enrollment and progress throughout the study, conducting all study visits, , checking the electronic data for integrity, managing payment of participants, maintenance of IRB materials, communicating and managing any adverse events reporting, and report preparation for the Data Safety and Monitoring Board. The coordinator will communicate with the site PI on a daily basis to ensure successful advertising, recruitment, data collection. The coordinator will attend weekly meetings with Dr. Roos and the other research assistants at the other sites. The coordinator will communicate with the research assistants at the other sites on weekly basis (or more as needed) to ensure consistency of study procedures across sites. The coordinator will attend quarterly meetings with the entire team.
