Job Description


  • Technical ability to execute studies/research.


  • Conceptualization, planning of
    adaptive implementation including HCD approaches.

  • Data
    analysis

  • Knowledge
    management (MERL)

  • Requirements


    • Master’s degree in Health research,
      Health Sciences, B.Sc in Demography & Social Statistics.


  • Professional training
    in Project Management, Research, Monitoring & Evaluation.

  • Five years of experience supporting donor funded
    projects in Nigeria and managing a demanding workload to assist country level
    senior leadership objectives.

  • Development
    of research protocols, ToR for managing consultant, and Conducting baseline
    & Log frame & evaluation surveys.

  • Supporting
    the delivery of results, learning, capacity building including development of
    framework and strategic plan

  • Strengthening of Monitoring & Evaluation, KM and Learning system.

  • Safeguarding
    A360 project works with adolescent girls and vulnerable young women

  • Technical:


    • Qualitative and quantitative research and interpretation
      skills.

    • U
      se of statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA,
      Epi-Info
      ,

      Ethnography/Nvivo as
      well as the application of statistics to programming.

    • Ability to carry out bi-variate and multivariate statistical
      analysis.

    • Evidence-based
      monitoring and evaluation of programs

    • Ability to prepare
      technical reports using Microsoft power point and deliver presentation to high
      caliber audience confidently;

    • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel and Word
      packages

    Society for Family Health (SFH) is a non profit, non-political, non-governmental organisation which has interventions in various health fields, including child survival, malaria prevention and treatment, HIV and AIDS prevention, and reproductive health. SFH implements her life saving programmes in partnership with the public and private sectors and provides health products, clinical services and behaviour change communications in both urban and rural areas, especially among the most vulnerable.
