
Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety (ANROWS) is seeking a Research and Administration Officer (RAO), Research Directorate Leadership & Project Support to support the Research Directorate’s Director and Deputy Director on cross-Directorate priorities. This may include a range of research, project management, stakeholder liaison, reporting and administrative tasks.
About ANROWS
ANROWS is an innovative research organisation established as an initiative of Australia’s first National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010–2022 (the National Plan) by the Commonwealth Government and all state and territory governments of Australia.
ANROWS is a unique research organisation, being one of the only national organisations globally tasked with building, translating and disseminating the evidence base on women and children’s safety to inform policy and practice.
As a registered harm-prevention charity and deductible gift recipient, ANROWS also runs a research program funded by philanthropic funds (ANROWS Research Fund to Reduce Violence Against Women and their Children) and is periodically contracted by service providers and other government stakeholders to conduct evaluation and research projects.
This role will support a portfolio of research and evaluation, data analysis, and knowledge translation activities that contribute to policy and practice in the domestic, family, and sexual violence sector. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively across teams, utilising multiple skill sets.
Position can be based in Sydney or remote.
About the position
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) reporting to the Deputy Director Research. It is a hybrid work environment. The ANROWS national office is in the Sydney CBD; the role can also be performed remotely. The appointment is for a period of 12 months from commencement, with the potential to extend subject to continued funding.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary range for this position is $89,993 to $95,481 per annum plus superannuation with the option to salary sacrifice.
