Research Analyst
The Research Analyst is responsible for supporting various research initiatives at Triple-I. This includes project management, content development, primary and secondary research, data analysis, and other activities that advance Triple-I's mission and support the Head of Research Operations as outlined below.
What You’ll Do:
Support the Head of Research Operations by:
- Generating original research to benefit the insurance industry, Triple-I members, and consumers by analyzing insurance, economic and financial data
- Supporting the Head of Research Operations by tracking research requests, sponsorship contract development, research deliverable progress, and various other project management needs, as assigned
- Contributing to the production of key Triple-I products, including executive reports, issue briefs, blogs, presentations, and web content
- Performing analyses using best practices in data governance
- Communicating data excellence and insights via traditional reporting products and data visualization tools
- Using primary and secondary research to respond to inquiries from members, staff, academics, consumers and others
- Working closely with other Triple-I departments to identify, define, and support research needs and objectives
- Performing additional data analytics and administrative tasks, as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in a research-related field required, with a minimum of 5 years total experience
- Experience in project management, writing research articles, or reports required
- Prior experience and/or working knowledge of the risk management or insurance industry, preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, PowerPoint, Planner, Teams, Outlook)
- Creative usage of Generative AI for research and project management tasks preferred
