Join us as a "Research Analyst" with Barclays, where you will be responsible to support the European Credit Strategy team in their coverage of High Yield (including leveraged loans) and Credit Derivatives.
Key Accountabilities
To provide support in the production of timely publications in European HY and Credit Derivatives. This includes gathering the relevant data, updating and maintain existing frameworks, performing analysis, putting together drafts for periodical reports, etc
To assist with analysis as required in response to queries from clients, sales or traders and other internal stakeholders.
Achieve familiarity with the regular tasks of the broader team to aid in coverage when team members are travelling or on leave.
Assist in disseminating regular weekly screens.
Assist in maintaining, and updating, the team’s existing suite of automated frameworks. Ensure that relevant databases are kept up to date in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure marketing packs are updated as required.
Attend internal conference calls and read macro-economic and credit research to stay up to date with developments.
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from IIT or premier engineering college (CFA desirable)
Work experience in a similar profile, ideally for 2+ years
Understanding of financial markets and instruments
Strong interest in the subject matter

This role is based of Mumbai.
