The Research Technician provides entry-level support for research and innovation activities within the Center for Cancer Innovation's MeDIC program. Under close supervision and following established procedures, the position assists with clinical shadowing, data collection, record keeping, and day-to-day program operations.
Responsibilities include observing clinical workflows, supporting early-stage concept development, preparing materials and equipment, maintaining accurate records, and organizing data. The individual performs routine assignments, helps solve basic technical problems, and supports research activities through structured work assignments. Additional duties may include literature reviews, assisting with research procedures, and helping orient students or new staff to routine tasks.
High School graduate or associate degree required. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
