Research & Advisory Analyst FM Consultancy (Remote)

Location: Remote (Global)
Engagement Type: Short-term consultancy (Day-rate or Monthly Retainer)
Sector: Facilities Management (FM), Real Estate Advisory
Projects: Mixed-use urban and destination developments in Saudi Arabia

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Research & Advisory Analysts to support high-impact Facilities Management (FM) consultancy engagements for large-scale, mixed-use developments in Saudi Arabia These strategic projects span residential, retail, office, hospitality, and public realm assets.

This is a flexible remote consultancy role, combining desktop research and documentation with periodic client/site engagements. Candidates can be based anywhere globally, provided they can accommodate occasional travel and time zone alignment with Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

You will be deployed across two major FM advisory projects:

Project A Mixed-Use Urban Development

Focus: Residential, Retail, Office
Scope includes:

  • Defining FM operating and delivery models
  • Drafting tender documents, scopes of work, and contract schedules
  • Evaluating service provider bids and advising on commercial models
  • Supporting mobilisation of selected FM providers

Project B Mixed-Use Destination Development

Focus: Retail, Hospitality, Public Realm
Scope includes:

  • Advising on FM strategy, governance, and service integration
  • Recommending delivery options aligned with guest experience and brand standards
  • Supporting contract design, transition planning, and vendor onboarding

Candidate Profile

We are looking for detail-oriented, analytical professionals with a background in FM, consulting, or strategic support roles.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • 35 years experience in FM, real estate consulting, or strategy support
  • Strong skills in desktop research, benchmarking, and document preparation
  • Proven ability to draft strategy papers, scopes of work, and audit summaries
  • Excellent formatting, presentation, and Excel capabilities
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, RICS frameworks, or asset-heavy environments
  • Comfortable working under pressure across multiple bids and deliverables
