Resale Shoppe Sales Associate

Looking for a meaningful summer opportunity? The Seasonal Store Associate role is a great chance to gain hands-on customer service and retail experience while supporting Unity’s mission and giving back to the community during the busy summer season.

The Seasonal Store Associate supports the daily operations of Unity Resale Shoppes by creating a welcoming and positive experience for customers, donors, volunteers, and staff. This role assists with customer service, sales floor support, merchandising, donation intake, and general store operations while helping maintain an organized and mission-driven retail environment.

**Ability to work at both store locations (Green Bay & De Pere) – primarily a determined store for each shift with occasional moving from one store to the other on the same day. **

Schedule: 28 hours per week with flexibility to work within store hours: Monday–Thursday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and every Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for customers, donors, volunteers, and community members
  • Operate an iPad-based point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with stocking, merchandising, inventory organization, and seasonal displays
  • Accept and process donations according to store procedures
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and visually appealing store environment.
  • Support store opening, closing, and daily operational tasks as assigned
  • Assist customers with purchases and locating merchandise
  • Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to support store goals
  • Perform light cleaning, organization, and additional tasks as needed

Requirements

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts
  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving merchandise and donations
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or related experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
  • Ability to work at either Unity Resale Shoppe location based on business needs
