At Bosch eBike Systems, we are looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking Requirements Engineer to join our innovative team. You will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of eBike systems.

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Bridge the gap: Elicit, analyze, and synthesize requirements across system, component, and domain levels to ensure a holistic understanding of our product vision.
  • Craft clarity: Specify and meticulously document requirements using the 4C Method, ensuring precision and traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Champion quality: Lead and moderate requirement reviews, fostering collaborative discussions to refine and validate specifications.
  • Drive efficiency: Continuously optimize and evolve our requirements engineering processes, implementing best practices to enhance overall team productivity and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance: Support and contribute to requirements audits within the software domain, upholding our commitment to excellence.
  • Manage evolution: Proactively manage change requests, assessing impact and guiding effective implementation.
  • Full lifecycle ownership: Oversee and manage software requirements from initial concept through to validation, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
  • Leverage modern tools: Utilize industry-standard tools such as Jama and Doors (Next Generation) to manage complex requirement sets.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Electronics, Physics, or a comparable technical field.
  • Experience & Know-how:
    • Familiarity with programming languages like C++, Python and AI application is a plus.
    • Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles, Battery Systems or comparable component is nice to have;
    • Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and a keen eye for detail in debugging and issue resolution.
    • Experience with requirements management tools like Jama and DOORS Next Generation.
  • Languages:
    • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential for our international team.
  • Working Style and Methods:
    • A proactive and self-driven approach, coupled with the ability to confidently take ownership of complex technical topics.
    • Highly organized with a systematic approach to process optimization and documentation.
  • Personality:
    • A collaborative team player who actively supports collective goals and fosters a positive working environment.
    • Demonstrates a continuous learning mindset, eager to explore new technologies and methodologies.
    • A genuine interest in technology, innovation, and the future of sustainable mobility, particularly within the eBike industry.
