The role:

We are looking for a Requirements & Architecture Body System Management to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting to the Head of Body in White, Trims & Composites

The role is responsible for requirement management and system architecture of the Body System at Level 2, covering the entire product life cycle. You will own system requirements and features at whole vehicle level, define system specifications and develop functional, logical and physical architectures, ensuring feasibility, consistency, integrability and traceability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Definition, derivation and tracking of system requirements and use cases from vehicle level (L1) to system level (L2)
  • Management of requirements consistency, quality, verification and validation (in cooperation with IV&V)
  • Evaluation and selection of architecture alternatives, interface management and resolution of conflicts
  • Development of a coherent system architecture (functional, logical, physical), including subsystem definition and vehicle layout
  • Coordination with system architects, integration, verification & validation, and virtual development teams
  • Continuous monitoring, reporting and change management of requirements and architecture artefacts
  • Technical leadership of functional and discipline-specific architects
  • System responsibility (MS KE) for technical targets, project maturity, escalation management and end-to-end system development

About you:

  • Engineering degree
  • 8–10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Background in requirements management, functional development, MBSE
  • Experiences and knowledge on systems engineering
  • Experience with physical architecture (CAD, PLM, BOM)
  • Ability to manage conflicts, risks, and architecture decisions
  • Fluent English; Italian mandatory; German is a plus
  • Strong teamwork mindset, stakeholder management, problem solving and decision-making skills
