Job Description

At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full-time Configuration and Change Management (CCM) Lead in Belgrade we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in Configuration and Change Management in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of configuration and change management processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, supply chain, project management, and industrialization), lead CCM activities, and ensure compliance with applicable tools and procedures, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of establishing Configuration Management Plans and monitoring configuration items, but also organizing and leading Change Boards to ensure seamless project execution.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading CCM activities in a project/program or collaborating with Advanced/Senior PrCCM when applicable
  • Applying CCM procedures, instructions, and templates, and ensuring project/program team members are trained and compliant
  • Establishing Configuration Management Plans with clearly defined roles and responsibilities
  • Ensuring proper use of CCM tools and managing access rights
  • Escalating CCM-related risks/issues and reporting on performance indicators
  • Ensuring the execution of Development for Quality (DfQ) Gates for CCM deliverables
  • Identifying and monitoring the accuracy and maturity of items under configuration control
  • Preparing Configuration Strategies and publishing Release Notes
  • Managing Supplier Configuration Management, including requirement negotiation and documentation
  • Supervising Configuration Status Accounting Reports (CSAR)
  • Organizing and leading Change Boards and managing Change Requests end-to-end
  • Facilitating event management and integrating it into the Change Management Process

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Graduate of a university degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Configuration and Change Management
  • Understanding of Business Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrialization, Data Management, and Document Control
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Mandatory knowledge of railway products, solutions (signalling, telecom, etc.), systems, and components
  • Proficiency in CCM tools (e.g., ALM, Clear Quest, Clear Case, SAP, PLM, AEC-tpPLM, ERP, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Systematic, rigorous, proactive, and organized, with great attention to detail
  • A team player who fosters a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Results-driven with strong multi-tasking and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
  • Progress towards leadership roles or specialized expertise
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
