Job Description

Responsible for quoting (proposals), follow-up, contracting and servicing prospective clients in matters related to the sales function with the goal of maintaining of winning client business.

What You Will Do:

• Day to day contact with potential and existing clients for new sales, quoting and contracting activities.
• Handle proposal development activities (simple and complex) including screening client information for scope determination, proposal generation and timely submittal of quote to the client.
• Receipt/review of Applications and required contracting information. Completion of contract review to assure the requirements are defined, any differences resolved and that ABS QE is capable to provide service. Verification/entry of information into database for assigning of project numbers.
• Ongoing sales reporting for management.
• Participate in major proposal activities.
• Administer corporate master agreements
• Sales lead and quote follow-up, as assigned.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent sales/customer service experience, preferably in an business/technical discipline.
• Previous experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good oral and written communication skills; excellent telephone communication skills.
• Considerable attention to detail including a high degree of accuracy in data entry and interpretation.
• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with database requirements and computer tools available to make use of such data.
• Good organizational, research & problem solving skills.
• Can-do attitude, conscientious towards client service.

• Familiar with the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System

  Reporting Relationships:

• Reports to a Manager, Director or Executive level position
