Position Summary: Supports the provision of Siffrin services by implementing fiscally sound practices for the acquisition, management and distribution of individual funds and assisting in the acquisition and continuation of maximum benefits to enhance the choices and options of persons served. Essential Functions: Develops plans for distribution and management of individual funds based on identified level of service need. Works closely with the respective County Board Service Support Administrators to assure the fiscal needs of the individual are addressed in the Individual Plan of Service. Maintains ongoing communication with the Chief Executive Officer and Administration and monitoring agency staff to assure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and mandates. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with inter and intra-agency staff, as well as parents, guardians and stakeholders. Participates in at least 5 hours of on-going or special training per year. Completes other related duties as required and/or assigned. Follows the Siffrin, Inc. Code of Ethics in the fulfillment of duties.
QualificationsPhysical and Environmental Requirements In order to perform required duties to carry, move or lift supplies and materials; work with computers, copiers, equipment and supplies: the employee must be able to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear, use hands to manipulate, type, handle or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch and reach with hands and arms. Work is conducted in an office environment. Drives to and from other work sites for meetings, in-service, or training may be required. The employee may be subject to adverse weather conditions when driving.
Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred. Must meet the agency’s guidelines with respect to a criminal background check. Experience in the acquisition of available funding streams and benefits for individuals with disabilities is preferred. Must have basic computer skills including, Word, Outlook, and internet based knowledge as well as how to navigate and complete basic tasks. Schedule: The Individual Fiscal Services Coordinator works a flexible schedule as needed to meet the needs of the agency. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm with a one-hour lunch break. Interaction: The Director of Individual Fiscal Services supervises the Individual Fiscal Services Coordinator. The Chief Financial Officer supervises the Director of Individual Fiscal Services. The Chief Executive Officer supervises Chief Financial Officer.
