Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Empty money from validators and table game boxes.
• Count and verify all currency.
• Run Verification Report.
• Verify documentation and forms in the casino system.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Competencies:

• High School diploma general education (GED) and five years related experience.
• Previous money handling experience preferred
• Louisiana Gaming Commission work permit is required for this position
• Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Maintain flexibility to handle changing priorities
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

• The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests
• Able to work all shifts to include weekends and holidays also work 6-day work weeks when required

• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to work in a smoking environment.

Compensation:

• $14.50/hr
