Principal Responsibilities
The Advertising Sales Executive,Simon Media + Experiences will beresponsible to sell SimonCentersas a Marketing Medium to brands, advertising agencies, and local businesses.Theywill serve as the primarymediasales person for a group of properties in a specific market. Theywill target key companies and categories withintheir assignedmarket to sell Simon media, sponsorships, events, and partnership marketing programs to achievetheirindividual andpropertyspecific revenue goals.
The Advertising Sales Executive’sresponsibilities include, butarenot limited to:
Identify, create,sell, and closerevenue opportunitiesto brands and businessesthrough strategic positioning ofourmedia assets;center specificand nationalsponsorships;centerspecificprogrammingand amenitiesto achieve therevenuegoals ofeachproperty
Achieve or exceed personal sales goals andassignedproperty monthly revenuegoals
Create compelling client solutions to advertising objectives, articulate the benefits of Simoncenters, and close large single or multi property advertising, sponsorship, or promotional programs on a regular basis
Target, pitch, and develop relationships with all companies within key categories (auto, health care, entertainment, retail, education,travel, consumer services,etc.) located withinassignedmarket
Ensure flawless execution foryourprograms
Monthly forecasting forassignedproperties
Execute leases and collect client receivables
Communicate daily with local property, corporate and regional leadership teams
Be a brandadvocate for yourproperties, clients and businessopportunities,andSimon Property Group
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5years’proven track record ofselling media,OOH,sponsorships, promotions, and events
In depth knowledge and personal contacts in the advertising, agency, and marketing communityOOH industry experience and contactsarea plus
Compelling sales presentation skills, including formal presentations, cold calling, ‘elevator pitches’ and networking. Excellent writing skills are essential.
Ability tohandle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent computer skills – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce
Superiormedianegotiation skills
Sales forecasting and budgeting; above average math skills
Bachelor’s Degree required
Some overnight travel required
