
NOTICE OF VACANCY--PROFESSIONAL
Position Title: Title II Beginning Teacher Mentor
2 Positions available
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: (In accordance with WV Code §18A-2-9)
QUALIFICATIONS: This position will be filled with the most qualified applicant pursuant to the criteria set forth in WV Code §18A-4-7a, based upon the following minimum qualifications
• Must be or have been a fully certified teacher with Monroe County Schools with successful experience in education.
• The candidate should be able to demonstrate knowledge in use of office 365 (email, TEAMS, etc.)
• Recommendation by previous educational employer to include an excellent ability to work well with others.
• Willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the project which will include evening sessions and meetings.
Salary: $25 dollar per hour, not to exceed 275 hours per school year.
Pursuant to WV Code §18A-4-2, in accordance with Monroe County Administrative Salary Schedule, commensurate with experience and education level. Salary based on experience and education level per Monroe County BOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
Effective Date: Immediately upon hire
