Travel Percentage: NoneIMA Solutions is looking for a detail oriented Reports Coordinator to join our team!
The Reports Coordinator assists with the daily workflow of the department, analyzes and edits medical reports and handles quality assurance questions on reports as required. This position requires a complete understanding of and ability to perform the duties outlined below and provide overall direction and support to the Quality Assurance Team.
This is an onsite role, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm PST.

rate of pay is $26 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide overall support to the department and assists in the daily distribution of work and ensures all timelines are met.
- Perform quality assurance review of reports, correspondences and/or addendums or supplemental review.
- Promote effective and efficient utilization of all resources and make necessary recommendations for improvements to management as needed.
- Arrange addenda, file reviews and other non-appointment based services as required.
- Utilize internal and external resources as needed to achieve expected goal within the required timeframe.
- Upload documents to the web portal as needed and assist assessors and clients with the portal if needed.
- Communicate with assessors in regards to edit requests, report timelines, and additional records, among others.
- Assist in resolution of customer complaints and quality assurance issues as needed.
- Provide insight and direction to management on consultant quality, availability and compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures in order to provide advice and guidance.
- Participate in various educational and or training activities as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required. University degree preferred.
- Knowledge of medical-legal industry, disability insurance industry preferably claims management relative to one or more of the following categories: workers' compensation, liability or disability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a working knowledge of medical legal aspects of medical records and health information principles.
- Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and look for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.
- Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M
- Must have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
- Must be able to operate a general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone.
- Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to upper managements’ directions accurately.
- Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to demonstrate and promote a positive team -oriented environment.
- Must be able to stay focused and concentrate under normal or heavy distractions and be able to work well under pressure and or stressful conditions.
- Must possess the ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events appropriately.
- Ability to follow all company policies and procedures in effect at time of hire and as they may change or be added from time to time.
