Works with senior management and other team members to implement enhancements to reporting and analysis packages for senior management forums and committees plus the implementation of improved reporting and data mining tools and metrics. Ensures that the team produces regulatory and economic risk capital reports and data inputs respectively. Produces regularly scheduled reports including stress and back testing and responds to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests. May manage a small team of analysts or own key reports and or processes. Strong finance, risk or compliance background with quantitative skills preferred.

Required Skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a financial services role (Business control, Risk Management, Front/Middle/Back Office, Data Management, technology or project management)

  • Deep knowledge of financial markets, traded products and Risk Management functions

  • Self-starter, solution driven, confident and highly motivated with strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with peers and multiple levels of management

  • Intellectually curious with attention to detail and critical thinking mindset with a 'can do' attitude and a desire to grow, learn, and take on increasing levels of responsibility

  • Strong project management skills with an ability to multitask and manage deliverables

  • Ability to work with large datasets using advanced Excel or SQL

  • Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint
