Job Description

You’re someone who wants to create outcomes that have a real impact on the people of NSW.


You'll make a tangible impact on the people of NSW, using your finance and accounting skills to help build a sustainable and thriving transport network for generations to come.


In this role, you'll:


Working as part of a dedicated team delivering data-driven insights and governance reporting to support strategic investment decisions, you will shape the way we monitor and manage capital portfolio performance across cost, time, and asset outcomes.


You will build robust reporting frameworks and deliver high-quality analytics in a dynamic environment where accuracy, compliance, and collaboration are key.


From preparing dashboards and performance reports for executive governance committees to improving data management practices, your work will directly influence commercial and asset management strategies.


Your analytical mindset and stakeholder engagement skills, formed across reporting, governance, or portfolio management roles, will see you excel in translating complex data into actionable insights and overcoming challenges in a fast-paced, multi-source environment.


This is a permanent Hybrid role with five days a month to be spent at your home hub and a further five days to be spent at either your home hub or another TfNSW location.

About you


You’re recognized as detail-oriented and proactive, skilled at designing and delivering reporting solutions, and experienced in data analytics, financial tracking, and governance compliance.


You will have demonstrated experience in portfolio analysis and in the development and implementation of reporting solutions in a fast changing, complex environment.


Sound working knowledge and skills in using analytical tools and systems gained managing the performance of a capital portfolio


A background influencing commercial and asset management strategies.


Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience.
