  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Support internal, external, and regulatory audits relating to financial reporting and planning activities.

  • Lead preparation and submission of all periodic regulatory returns as well as Adhoc reports (as applicable for Finance function) required by the regulator,

  • Ensure regulatory submissions are accurate, complete, and submitted within prescribed timelines.

  • Support in resolving queries, inspections, and data requests from the regulator.

  • Monitor changes in regulatory reporting requirements and assess their impact on finance processes and systems.

  • Coordinate with Technology, Operations, Commercial, Regulatory teams to ensure data integrity and consistency across regulatory submissions.

  • Support in preparation of Board packs, shareholder reports, management performance reports, and strategic finance presentations.

  • Develop reports covering revenue streams, agent and merchant ecosystem performance, profitability, liquidity, and other key business metrics.

  • Lead annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-range business plans.

  • Evaluate business cases and Perform scenario analysis and financial modelling for new products, partnerships, pricing strategies, and regulatory changes.

  • Prepare variance analysis and identify key drivers impacting revenue, cost, profitability, liquidity, and growth.

  • Act as a finance business partner to Commercial, Product, Technology, Operations, and other functional teams.

  • Facilitate discussions on financial performance, business assumptions, and investment decisions.

  • Present financial insights and recommendations to management and relevant governance forums.

Academic Qualification

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline from a reputed university.

  • Professional qualification such as CA (Partly/Qualified), ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be highly preferred.

Job Experience Required

  • 7–8+ years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Financial Control, Revenue Accounting/Assurance, Treasury Operations, or Digital Financial Services.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.

  • Experience in Banking, Fintech, MFS, PSP, Digital Payments, Telecommunications, or Financial Services industries is highly preferred.

Required Capabilities

  • Strong understanding of digital payments, fintech operations, settlement processes, and financial transaction lifecycle management.

  • Analytical and financial modeling capability with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to drive process automation and operational excellence through technology-enabled solutions.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business, technology, banking, and regulatory teams.

  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, business intelligence tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced digital financial services environment while managing multiple priorities and strategic initiatives simultaneously.
