Job Description

The Project Reporting Engineer plays a crucial role in our Projects department, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This role is responsible for collecting and consolidating project data, preparing various reports and dashboards, and tracking progress against approved baselines. The engineer will also assist in monitoring risks and issues, and ensure effective communication of project performance. Working closely with internal teams, the engineer will maintain reporting systems and templates, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Collect and consolidate project data from consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc project reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Track project progress against approved schedule, cost, and milestone baselines.
  • Support the preparation and updating of project KPIs and performance indicators.
  • Assist in monitoring risks, issues, and mitigation actions for reporting.
  • Coordinate with planning, cost control, and technical teams for data validation.
  • Maintain reporting templates, logs, and document control systems.
  • Support progress meetings with report preparation, minutes, and action tracking.
  • Highlight deviations, trends, and potential risks in a structured manner.
  • Ensure reporting format consistency and compliance with client requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in project reporting, planning, or project controls on infrastructure or railway projects.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, progress measurement, and reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with experience in reporting dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 and Power BI is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and reporting tools.
