Description & Requirements

Being in a business support role at Australia Post means helping our people deliver for every Australian. Just like our Posties, you’re still the people behind every parcel. Whatever your team or role, you’re helping grow our people, grow our business and making a lasting impact on the Australian community. You’ll find a culture of connection in our great people and the flexibility to balance work with life outside of it.

About the opportunity

Join a high profile program of work where you’ll play a key support role in keeping things running smoothly day to day. As the Reporting & Administration Coordinator, you’ll work closely with senior leaders, helping bring structure, organisation and consistency to a fast paced delivery environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in a large scale program while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and enterprise level reporting.

You’ll also

  • Support the preparation and coordination of reporting, including weekly updates, dashboards and governance packs
  • Provide day to day administrative support to senior leaders, including diary management, meeting coordination and inbox support
  • Maintain action logs, decision registers and key tracking documents, ensuring follow ups are actioned
  • Coordinate meetings and governance forums, including agenda preparation, note taking and tracking outcomes
  • Assist with general program coordination, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and easy to access

About you

You’re a highly organised and proactive coordinator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You bring strong attention to detail, a positive, can do attitude and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders. You take pride in being reliable and responsive, and you thrive in fast paced environments where priorities can shift. You’re comfortable juggling multiple tasks, staying one step ahead, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

You’ll also

  • Previous experience in an administrative, team coordinator or support role, ideally in a corporate or project environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with experience managing diaries, meetings and competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with reporting or document preparation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records, track actions and manage documentation

What else is in it for you?

  • Bring your whole self to work every day and be met by a welcoming bunch of people who respect and support you
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, like the opportunity to work from home two days per week
  • Opportunities for growth and development through formal programs or mentorship
  • Exclusive team member discounts and offers for more cash in your pocket, evolving policies for flexible working, leave types and access to health and wellbeing resources

All walks, one route

It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian – and it’s important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.

We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us. If you’ve got questions about accessibility, reach out to our Diversity & Inclusion team at inclusivecareers@auspost.com.au or on 03 8737 9415.
