Job Description

of Position:
The Reporting Analyst I supports the Oracle ERP team’s strategic business initiatives by profiling, developing, and enhancing analytics-based reporting solutions. This role focuses on designing, developing, and improving reporting and analytics capabilities that provide meaningful insights, support data-driven decision-making, and reinforce the organization’s reporting structure and related operational processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
    • An interest in data analytics, design, development, and implementation.
    • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Demonstrates strong listening and consultation skills to understand internal clients’ business challenges and translate those needs into effective reporting solutions that support business processes and decision-making.
    • Understanding of data modeling concepts, data cleanup methods, and data enhancement techniques.
    • Ability to create, document, and maintain processes, procedures, and workflows.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high data accuracy.
    • Experience using data management tools and systems to organize, review, and maintain datasets.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data improvement and reporting enhancements.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain processes and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
    • Experience with Oracle SQL or other database querying languages.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with project tracking or collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), or Trello.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Develop and support meaningful, sustainable analytics-based reporting solutions that address the business's specific needs and enable data-driven decision-making.
    • Perform ad hoc analysis and data exploration to identify potential issues, trends, and opportunities for operational and business improvement using appropriate analytical and statistical methods.
    • Provide system and reporting recommendations that improve reporting capabilities and support organizational data governance standards.
    • Test key control reports at Quarterly Update intervals to ensure they maintain performance and relevance as underlying data structures change.
    • Regularly monitor the reporting catalog to eliminate duplication, and test reports to ensure they continue to provide results in a reasonable timeframe.
    • Collaborate with management and business stakeholders to define key metrics, reporting requirements, and performance indicators.
    • Work with analysts, engineers, and business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain clear documentation that helps stakeholders understand reporting processes, data structures, and system capabilities.

    Salary:

    $60,000/YR - $85,000/YR

    Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
