At the heart of our business is a passionate team driven by creativity, innovation, and a shared ambition to deliver exceptional results. We foster a culture where individuality is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged, and challenging the status quo is part of how we grow.

About the role…

As a Reporting Analyst, you will serve as a key partner to the Reporting & Operations Manager, working collaboratively to consolidate insights that provide our Director and Heads of Merchandising with a "single source of truth". You will play a critical role in aligning data and strategic analysis to support informed decision-making and enhance overall merchandising effectiveness. By providing a comprehensive, big-picture view of the business, you help drive performance across all our wholly owned brands and joint ventures.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting & Tool Building

  • Create, amend, and maintain Power BI reports specifically tailored to the evolving needs of the business
  • Create user stories and initiatives to ensure our reporting tools meet changing business requirements
  • Lead or support the testing of new processes and reporting tools to identify and troubleshoot issues before rollout
  • Train relevant team members on new systems and tools, developing clear, user-friendly reference documentation to support adoption

Process Improvement & Change Management

  • Constantly seek ways to improve the efficiency of business processes, ensuring they remain fit for purpose
  • Proactively challenge existing ways of working to drive better results and operational benefits
  • Create and maintain detailed "as-is" and "to-be" process documentation to guide transitions
  • Assist in the planning and rollout of new systems, carefully considering timelines, risks, and business impact

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work across all divisions and joint ventures to gather and consolidate key company information
  • Build strong working relationships across WOB, Beauty, Joint Ventures, and NEXT operational functions
  • Oversee the end-to-end markdown process, including template creation and roll-up communications
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration with NEXT to improve and innovate our internal business processes
  • Provide support, as required, for promotions, price changes, department moves, season switch, attribution, item amendments and other adhoc tasks

Your Talent…

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and identify practical solutions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically for data manipulation and analysis
  • Proficiency in Power BI for building reports and experience with SQL & databricks for data querying is preferred
  • Familiarity with Excel Macros for process automation and efficiency improvements is a plus
  • Exposure to applying AI tools and techniques across multiple functions to enhance reporting, analysis, and decision making
  • An understanding of the retail merchandising lifecycle, from product selection to exit strategy
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication styles for different audiences

Diversity & Inclusion

We recognise that our differences are what make us who we are. We want people to want to work for us and be their true selves. We are dedicated to attracting and developing a talent team, and recognise that all unique backgrounds and experiences contribute to our future success.

We want to create an inclusive and inspiring environment where individuals feel valued and respected, and where people can achieve their full potential and be their very best, whoever they are.

We believe that wellbeing is having the opportunity to achieve your full potential, cope with day to day pressures, be productive and thrive in all aspects of your life. We encourage a culture that promotes and enables us all to achieve positive wellbeing, by focusing on mental, physical and financial health.
