As part of theMarketingorganization, the Interface Governance Team plays a critical role in supporting company growth and customer retention through data-driven insights.
The Report Developeris responsible fordesigning, developing, andmaintainingreporting solutions that deliver actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and external customers.This role partners cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with governance standards.
This position requires a strong blend of technicalexpertise, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement, with an emphasis on driving business value through data.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, andmaintainreports and dashboards in Power BI to support business and customer reporting needs
Build scalable data models and implement efficient report design using DAX, relationships, and performance optimization techniques
Develop and manage reporting solutions across multiple platformssuch asOracle, Salesforce, Qualtrics, Manitou, and other data sources
Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation using tools such as Power Query and SQL
Ensure reports are user-friendly,accurate, and aligned with business requirements
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather, define, and document reporting requirements
Translate business needs into technical specifications and reporting solutions
Manage intake of reporting requests and effectively scope project requirements, timelines, and priorities
Communicate insights, findings, and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and external clients
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs
Follow and contribute to data governance standards, reporting best practices, and documentation
Maintain and support the full lifecycle of reporting solutions, including enhancements and issue resolution
Monitor andoptimizereport performance, refresh schedules, and data pipelines
Proactivelyidentifyopportunities to improve reporting, uncover insights, and drive business decisions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proficiencyin Power BIrequired
Proficient in Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and charts/graphs.
Experience: 3+yearsexperienceusing reporting systems and Excel.
1-3 Years Power BI experiencerequired
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Proficient in Excel and working with data, comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, and Word are essential); Power BI experience required; client management systems i.e.:SalesForceand Oracle; alarm management systems and processes preferred.
Specific Skills: Problem solving, ability to understand data from multiple sources is vital; good communication skills (verbal and written); attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects; time management; Dependable and work with a high sense of urgency; Ability to work independently, manage time appropriately to prioritize and complete multiple simultaneous assignments.
Experience working with developers is a plus.
Project Management experience is a plus.
Industry experience: telecommunications or alarm, CCTV/security field, network preferred.
Base range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 Pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.
