Job Description

A. PROFILE

Role Title: Report Development Manager

Reporting to: Director – BI & Analytics

Division: BI & Analytics

Department / Section: Marketing

B. CONTEXT

Purpose To lead the report development team. Ensuring all reporting requirements for the organization is met – Timely and Accurately. Lead reports automation with technology BI and leverage tools like Power BI, Power Automate and SAP BO (other reporting tools) to effectively migrate to automated reporting. The report development senior manager will responsible in driving the Power BI across the enterprise and ensure to meet organizational goals. Create the center of excellence and ensure full support is provided to the entire internal analytics reporting community in the organization.


Context Building big data collection and analytics capabilities to uncover customer, product, and operational insights. Analyzing data sources and proposing solutions to strategic planning problems on a one-time or periodic basis. Providing data-driven decision support. Developing analytics models and insights for customer- or employee-facing applications to drive efficiency or revenue.

C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Implement best practice and design data models to convert raw data into meaningful analytical reports / dashboards.
  • Digest user requirements and develop BI report solutions in collaboration with IT, reporting team to create business values.
  • Able to convert business requirements into technical specification and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks.
  • To analyze and present it through reports that can help in decision-making.
  • Able to perform complex DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
  • Design, develop and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis.
  • Design new data models for all kind of business reporting by analyzing current data models and ETL flows.
  • Lead the development team and train the user community across the organization.
  • Guide and support junior colleagues to develop their skills.
  • Identify business KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently.
  • Oversee all dashboard automation processes and ensure no overuse of resources.

External: IT vendors when needed for automation.

To take check and take decision on data sanity and ways to manage the data in best possible manner for efficient reporting.

F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

  • Solid and proven background on SQL, Power BI, DAX, Advanced Excel, Power Automate and other reporting tools like SAP BO
  • At least 5-7 years of working experiences with Power BI platform
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills both in English and Myanmar
  • Strong experience of data designing, data modelling, data management and data visualization
  • Structured & analytical thinking, able to deep-dive into problems & present possible solutions


Minimum Entry Qualifications

  • Bachelor/master degree in IT.
