Weekend Forklift Operator (FLO2) – Weekend Shift (FedEx Hixon)

Location: Lebanon, TN (1000 Hixon Blvd)

Agency: Abacus Corporation – Smyrna Branch

Pay: $20.50/hr

Schedule: Friday – Sunday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Abacus is seeking experienced, high-level Forklift Operators (FLO2) for the Weekend Shift at our climate-controlled government facility in Lebanon. This role requires advanced equipment expertise and a high degree of professional reliability.

Equipment & Training:

• Advanced Equipment: You will be responsible for operating the Cherry Picker (Order Picker), Swing Reach, and Reach Truck

• Safety Phase: As with all roles at this facility, you will undergo one month of safety training and must be officially certified onsite by FedEx before operating equipment.

GOVERNMENT COMPLIANCE & ELIGIBILITY

• Proof of Citizenship: Must provide an original Birth Certificate & ID OR a valid US Passport

• FedEx History: Prior employment at any FedEx facility must be disclosed immediately to avoid delay on start date.

• 11-Month Rule: Eligible for permanent hire after 11 months of service.

• No Electronics: Personal electronics (phones, watches, etc.) are strictly prohibited inside the warehouse.

STRICT ATTENDANCE & CONDUCT

• First 2 Weeks: Zero call-outs or absences permitted.

• First 90 Days: Only one (1) call-out permitted.

• Initiative: During downtime, operators are expected to remain flexible, assist other departments, and ensure the facility stays productive.

2. Office Visit (Smyrna - 45 Mins):

   • Forklift Test: 20-minute video + 40-question test (Multiple Choice/True-False).

   • Safety Evaluation: Two 5-minute videos + 15-question test.

   • Drug Screen: 3-minute oral mouth swab.
