We are currently seeking a Repairman to join the Engine Department of M/S Finlandia This is a permanent position, starting in July 2026 or as agreed.

About the Role

As a Repairman, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel’s technical equipment, ensuring everything remains in excellent working condition. On board M/S Finlandia, the role rotates after each shift between Engine Repairman and Sanitary Repairman duties.

We are looking for a positive, service-oriented professional with strong language and technical skills. The working language onboard is English; knowledge of Finnish and Swedish is considered an asset.

M/S Finlandia sails under the Finnish flag on the Helsinki–Tallinn route The position follows a 1:1 rotation schedule

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Strong problem-solving skills

• The ability to work independently and take initiative

• Hands-on technical expertise, particularly in welding and lathe operation

We are seeking a team member with relevant qualifications and experience, a proactive approach to safety and environmental standards, and a positive attitude.

Requirements:

• A valid Able Seafarer Engine / Repairman Certificate (STCW III/5)
