The Opportunity

ContainerCo has an opportunity for an experienced Container Repairer to join our team. Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role is responsible for repairing, maintaining and preparing shipping containers to mee IICL and customer standards.

You will carry out a range of repairs across different container types, including corten steel, aluminum, stainless steel and refrigerated units. This includes structural repairs, insulation work, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works well in a team environment, and can manage a variety of tasks across the day.

What you'll Bring

  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Previous experience repairing shipping containers or working in sheet metal / metalwork
  • Welding experience or certification (preferred)
  • Experience using hand tools such as grinders
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
